Home prices are quite low, given the location. The neighborhood is nice, with manicured lawns and homes that have been restored to have a Spanish-Mediterranean flavor. Everyone else has discovered the location as well, but there is the possibility that new fixers will enter the market. Small neighborhoods with really nice residences (about 3 or 4), well-kept and manicured, are common. Although remodeled homes might vary in quality, finish level, and taste, most have some character. We can obtain value for our money is far higher in Glen Park, Sunnyside, and Bernal, where we have easy access to 101, 280, and BART.

Mission Terrace is one of those rare neighborhoods that offers residents a wonderful combination of all of the following: This neighborhood is bright, pedestrian-friendly, family-friendly, and well-located for public transit and motorways. Small businesses and mom-and-pop establishments dominate the streets, but major grocery chains, pubs, and wine bars are close to Mission Street and Ocean Avenue. The Roxie Food Center, a neighborhood favorite for cold cuts and sandwiches, is well-known for its giving nature and willingness to support community activities, as evidenced by its support of local youth sports teams and holiday festivities. Tasty Coffee is well-loved for its warm and personable service, and Red Sea Market can help customers by offering pizza and groceries. That neighborhood is popular with locals and attracts families for summer festivals, thanksgiving feasts, and the yearly Halloween party.
