Welcome to Mission District

Everyone lives in the Mission District. This diverse area is home to numerous ethnicities, religions, and interests. Everything that exists can be found in the Mission. This area produces countercultural and activist movements, making it a part of many political and artistic movements. People of Latino descent are at the center of the neighborhood, bringing popular supermarkets and Mexican eateries to the area. So let us be open-minded and make the most of the resources our enclave has to offer.

The museum on Mission Dolores in the western part of the area on Dolores Street continues to operate, as does the other new basilica built and opened adjacent to it in 1918.

Mission Dolores Park (Dolores Park) is the neighborhood's largest park and San Francisco's most popular public parks. Dolores Park is located close to Mission Dolores. Mission High School, located next to Dolores Park, was built in the Mediterranean Revival style in 1927.
