Welcome to Merced Heights

 

A small city neighborhood on the southwestern edge of the city, west of the Ingleside and Oceanview communities, is referred to as Merced Heights. On the south, Brotherhood Way separates it from Brotherhood Park; to the west, Junipero Serra Boulevard separates it from the Junipero Serra Memorial Sports Arena; to the north, Holloway Avenue separates it from Oliveira School; and to the east, Orizaba Avenue borders it. The Oceanview Library is located on Randolph Street, located between Ramsell Street and Shields Street, and there are two public parks on Shields Street. Merced Heights Playground is located at Byxbee Street, and Brooks Park is situated at Arch Street. Also, there is a small "parkette" located at Randolph and Bright.
