Welcome to Diamond Heights

The neighborhood of Diamond Heights is on the hill overlooking Noe Valley to the north and Glen Canyon to the south, and its scenic views make it a favorite spot in the city. This was built in the 1960s and is a calm, serene residential neighborhood set off by winding streets lined with eucalyptus trees. A tree-shaded stairway connects the streets, providing beautiful views and swift, exciting routes. A half-mile south of Beacon Hill, Harry Stairway provides access to a little pocket park, Billy Goat Hill, which offers amazing views.

It feels like a small, quiet, suburban area within the city borders. As an undiscovered gem, residents of Diamond Heights have said that the neighborhood has a collection of single-family homes, stucco bungalows, and mid-century modern houses, all of which have about 100 coveted Eichler residences seven different floor plans.

The 15-minute walk to Noe Valley, plus the short 10-minute drive to downtown San Francisco, make it easy to visit these two areas. The retail center on Diamond Heights Blvd and the shopping zone between Diamond Heights and Portola Blvd are the only locations where shopping is allowed.
